Mike Rutledge
Currently the Head Coach of the Mississauga Aquatic Club and the University of Toronto Mississauga Masters. Mike has been involved in competitive swimming for 27years. Mike has coached age group swimmers to National and Provincial titles in the last 11 years of his coaching career. Former Olympic Development Team member, Canada Games Team member for Ontario, and full scholarship recipient to Texas A&M University. Mike Graduated from Texas A&M in 1996 with a BS in Sociology with Economics Minor. Mike has been coaching since 1994 with experience in the United States and Canada both Masters and Age Group. In addition to his expertise in Competitive Swimming Mike was an accomplished road cyclist. Mike enjoys being involved with athletics and assistance athletes to achieve their goals.
Darren Ward
Currently the Head Age Group Coach at Mississauga Aquatic Club and the Head coach of the Etobicoke Masters Aquatic Club with over 27 years of competitive swimming experience. During this time Darren was a member of the Canadian National Swim Team for 10 years and won over 50 individual and relay medals at the National Championships. Darren has represented Canada at every major international swimming competition including 2 Olympic Games in 1988 and 1992. Darren won the 1992 World Swimming Cup for the Individual Medley category and sites this accomplish-ment as his career highlight.
